All’età di 86 anni si è spento Chuck Norris. Il decesso, avvenuto alle Hawaii, è stato ufficializzato dalla famiglia attraverso i canali social dell’attore.
Chuck Norris era nato in Oklahoma il 10 marzo 1940 e da giovane era stato un campione di arti marziali. In carriera, tra il 1968 e il 2024, è apparso in trentuno film, alcuni di successo ed altri meno. È stata però la televisione a renderlo popolare in tutto il mondo ed in particolare la serie Walker Texas Ranger della quale, fra il 1993 e il 2001, sono state prodotte nove stagioni per un totale di 203 episodi.
Della serie, oltreché l’attore principale nei panni del ranger Cordell Walker, Norris era anche uno degli ideatori. Trasmessa e replicata per anni in tutto il mondo, la serie regalò un’enorme popolarità all’attore.
Dopo essere sopravvissuto a due infarti nel 2017, Chuck Norris si è spento improvvisamente, dopo un breve ricovero. Le cause del decesso non sono state rese note.

He lived his life with faith, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to the people he loved. Through his work, discipline, and kindness, he inspired millions around the world and left a lasting impact on so many lives.
While our hearts are broken, we are deeply grateful for the life he lived and for the unforgettable moments we were blessed to share with him. The love and support he received from fans around the world meant so much to him, and our family is truly thankful for it. To him, you were not just fans, you were his friends.
We know many of you had heard about his recent hospitalization, and we are truly grateful for the prayers and support you sent his way.
